As the ActionLink Certified Technician (ACT), you will be leading the organization in highly complex display sets to support product releases & transitions for leading brands in major retailers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting & repairing Interactive Displays, Kiosks, and other fixtures.
Position Qualifications
High School diploma/equivalent
Technical certifications a plus
2+ years of experience working w/ simple & complex displays
Demonstrated verbal & written communication skills
Ability to build & maintain strong relationships, read & interpret planograms, travel extensively
Preferably live in Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale or San Fernando Valley
Availability to work weekends, early morning, & overnight hours
Reliable transportation
Position Duties
Optimize visual merchandising of all products, ensuring they are signed, functional & priced
Effectively install, troubleshoot, & maintain a variety of technical complex displays
Perform & video record installations to troubleshoot potential issues & to refine instructions
Maintain communication w/ remote ACT District Manager via phone, text & email
Complete online reports, including submitting digital photos & all required documentation for submission of expenses incurred per policy
Adhere to safety guidelines & procedures set forth by ActionLink & retailers
64 hrs per 2-week pay period (approximately 32 hrs per week). Hours may increase to FT (40 hrs per week) as business increases. Technicians are eligible for medical insurance benefits at the minimum schedule of 64 hrs per pay period
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, & drive for long periods of time – up to 8 hours or more
Must have the ability to climb ladders more than 10’ high (in compliance w/ OSHA standards)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have a basic understanding/ability to use hand-held/power tools
