Description Colony Display is seeking an experienced independent contractor to support our clients with field merchandising projects on a per job basis. We are a leading full-service retail merchandising organization. We offer many opportunities within the retail, mass market, hardware, discount, convenience, and pharmacy locations. Must have store reset/remodel experience and be willing to work on a team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Read and acknowledge all scheduled plans prior to plan start date Review all plan materials prior to conducting merchandising activities Visit and complete work on the scheduled date of each plan Take plans, blueprints, worksheets, and all other applicable materials on every scheduled store visit Restock merchandise Build/Install displays Audit stock Photograph displays Report store visit and activity the same day as the visit via electronic surveys Return any paperwork or materials as indicated in the plan Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with key store personnel Utilize company provided hand-held device for retail data collection Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Merchandising and/or retail experience with a knowledge of planograms and floor resets is preferred Planogram (POG) experience required Self-motivated, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, organized and a problem solver Positive attitude and good work ethic are essential Must be comfortable interacting and communicating with the public and store personnel Must be dependable Must be computer literate with access to computer, internet, and printer Must have camera phone or digital camera Must be willing and able to enter surveys for work completed on the same day project/job was completed into our website.
