Windsong Farm Golf Club is looking for positive and energetic kitchen staff who are willing to learn and work in a fun culture · Should have 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen · Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time ·AM and PM shift available. We are a scratch kitchen. Job Tasks/Duties • Clock in (Inform Chef on duty of any missed punches) • Dress to full uniform (Chef coat, black pants, non-slip shoes, marker, no jewelry except plain ring) Use your lockers to store your things. • Uniform must be clean. • Wash hands before starting work • Grab sanitizer bucket and 3 towels (1 wet, 2 dry) use Sani towel to clean station • Grab and sharpen knife, (wipe knife after every use, keep it clean) • Keep tongs and other utensils clean throughout shift (Use your Sani bucket) • Check station for any items that need prepping. Physically check everything! Replace bad product. Always start longer recipes first. (Touch, smell, taste everything.) • Once station prep is at 100%, check restaurant prep list for items not completed. • Complete all tasks fully. (Put away items in the RIGHT place and clean up after yourself immediately!) • All prep must have a label and lid. • Ensure station is clean and orderly. (Never leave a dirty station.) • Make sure to wash hands thoroughly after all smoke breaks, phone handling, and restroom breaks. • Check with Chef on duty before going on break. • No eating outside of team meal unless tasting or approved by Chef. • Deep clean station. • See weekly/monthly cleaning list. • During service, if slow, keep yourself busy with prep, organizing or cleaning. • After service, refill missing product and break down station. • Ensure a safe and harassment free working environment for all employees. • Responsible to ensure your staff and you follows all Club’s policies & procedures and cultivates an inclusive, diverse & professional behavior.
