We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to engage and introduce food products to shoppers in supermarkets located in Madison, Wisconsin. -Positions begin at $20 per hour. Product Promotion Events include engaging shoppers, presenting featured products, encouraging trial, and asking shoppers to purchase. -Weekends only, every weekend. Saturday, and Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. One location only, MUST WORK BOTH DAYS AT THE SAME LOCATION! -Reliable transportation required. Must agree to a background check. -Must have food handlers safety card or be willing to obtain one. We will assist in obtaining/provide one to you if you do not have one. Retailer Event Standards & Policies: -Be engaging, enthusiastic and interacting with shoppers the entire time during the 4 hour event (no sitting). -Events run until 2pm each day. We are to stay at the table and continue engaging shoppers with samples for the duration of the event. -Per retailer policy, cell phone usage is not allowed on the grocery sales floor. -Attend to personal needs before beginning the event. Once the event begins, time away from the event should be limited to brief restroom breaks only. -Smoke breaks are not allowed. -Water at your event is approved, preferably in a personal container. If you purchase bottle of water, ask the cashier to apply a paid sticker and keep the receipt with you at all times. Consuming unpaid product is considered shoplifting. -Eating is not allowed during the 4 hour event. Because the nature of our business is food: Cleanliness and personal hygiene should be impeccable.
