As a Merchandising Supervisor, you will spend on average 3 to 4 weeks straight on the road with one week at home. Time at home is remote work time which will require engagement in virtual meetings, recruiting, planning, prep and business support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Train, support, and lead up to 30 merchandisers at once ensuring performance and productivity
Monitor quality assurance of all resets, projects, and backroom processes and address quality concerns as needed
Communicate regularly with management on items pertaining to: all performance issues and daily items in a timely manner
Utilize interpersonal skills to problem solve and ensure service standards
Responsible for prepping the reset team and completing all clean up that is associated with necessary equipment variables and schematics
Ensure safety standards are met and complete walk-through with Store Management / implement any necessary changes
Organize and file monthly paperwork, (instructions, schematics, pictures, etc.)
Transport small fixtures to and from store locations for resets.•
Qualification & Educational Requirements:
2+ year experience as a Lead Merchandiser or equivalent experience/exposure.
Ability to make travel arrangements independently while making sound decisions as it pertains to timelines and financials
Have a reliable form of transportation. (Current valid Driver’s license and proof of Auto insurance will be required).
Have a working knowledge various software programs and common computer functions (i.e. Word, Excel, Email, uploading digital pictures).
Ability to communicate professionally via email, call, text with an active and reliable phone
Ability to understand and explain the mapping processes and read schematics (POG).
Ability to set all types of variations with use of small tools
Stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs/ladders and lift above shoulder level consistently.
Walk, stand, and actively bend or climb for 10-hour shifts / lift up to 50 lbs
